10 QUESTIONS FOR... Mitha Komala

I met Mitha once in a fashion show and she looked like this cool girl, wearing a black leather jacket and black high boots. Thinking she might be a foreign blogger (seriously, i thought she was, like, Singaporean or other), i did the simplest thing: talking to her in English. It was a mistake when she replied with Indonesian, but eventually, we talked, complaining about the time and raving about the clothes in front us. A couple of weeks later, i decided to give another one of my 10 questions to her. Find out why she's almost always wearing caps and her take on reincarnation.

1. How many hats do you have until now? And which one is your fave?

It wasn't many, I only own 12 hats because I didn't really wear them before. But for now, I keep on buying them every week so I think in the future, I'll own more, hopefully ;) my current favorite is a leather cap with studs on it from Zara.

2. What is your fashion faux-pas?

Once I went to a Guess event in a mall, and they held a competition in which bloggers should change their current look by wearing apparels from Guess, so we all did. And when it was done, all of us changed to our previous clothes... I was in a hurry so I did not pay so much attention of my clothes. Apparently my friend told me my skirt was reverted. Geez I hope no one saw that except my friends, thank God we were sitting at that time so it caused less awkwardness. And I immediately returned to the changing room to fix it.

3. Quick question: skirts or pants?

I think by clicking "next page" on my blog 3 times, you can judge that I am very much a skirt person. Well at first when I blogged, I wore them a lot, but somehow I reverted to short pants... And now I'm back wearing skirts. The reason why is they are very comfortable because unlike pants, wind can go through easily and it is easier for me when I have to pee, because if I wore pants, I need to open the button and unzipped the zipper in which I think is inefficient. So yeah, skirts FTW. [well, agree]

4. What is the thing that you most regret for the last one month?

Not getting a cap from Topman last week... I thought I shopped too much that day and my friends said so as well, so I thought I'll purchase it next week. And when I went there, it WASN'T there... I was like, "What kind of karma is this?!"

5. Please agree with me... Robert Downey Jr. is not too old.

I strongly agree with you! He is that one hotness which can dry Jakarta from flood.

6. Do you wish that you're born with different zodiac?

No no no. Why? Simply because I love it when people ask me, "When is your birthday?" And I always answer "The last day of every year." - and people directly become over-excited and I love their awe expression when they hear my answer.

7. Do you believe in reincarnation? What do you think you'll be in another life?

Yes I do, I'm a Buddhist so everyone in my family always teach me about karma and their friends since I was a little kid, in which reincarnation is one of them. I believe that what I will be in another life depends on how good and bad I am in this life, so I can't truly judge whether I've done good or bad. But if I got to pick, I would want to be who I am today with a thicker amount of money. Ha ha, never mind.

8. Your favourite guilty pleasure?

Should I even answer this? Of course, shop shop shop. I enjoy myself feeling fabrics, cutting logo and price tags of what I bought afterwards at home, and putting the shopping bag on a rack (yes I collect shopping bags, they are cute in my eyes!).

9. You won't be caught dead wearing...

PAJAMAS please. I believe I have the worst kind of sleeping apparels. I never wanted anyone except my parents and sister to see what kind of pajamas I wear to bed.

10. How long have you been with this hairstyle?

It has been since I was in grade 9, so 3 years I think? Some people keep saying that they're bored with it but I don't think I will give it up? Simply because my teacher at college said that fashion people never changed their hair because it is their signature! Think of Karl Lagerfeld or Anna Wintour okay guys?
